The department actively engages in international exchanges and cooperation. Returned overseas personnel have established long-term scientific research and pathological diagnostic connections with institutions such as the University of Chicago and MD Anderson Cancer Center in the United States. Sir Ian Fraser, the inventor of the cervical cancer vaccine, chairman of the Australian Cancer Society, and nominee for the Nobel Prize in Medicine, led a delegation to visit and inspect the department. The strong technical strength and complete experimental equipment of the pathology department received praise from Sir Ian and his team, and long-term exchanges and cooperation have been established with the clinical trial project related to HPV virus led by Sir Ian Fraser.
